Historic Central Building

Built in 1926, The Central Building is a 17-story landmark high-rise located in the heart of downtown Oakland's central business district. Due to its architectural significance, including a distinctive façade and ornate lobby, the building has been placed on the National Historic Register.

ECB managed a fast-track acquisition, due diligence and financing process for Jordan Real Estate Interests, LLC and an ECB Principal to purchase the building. ECB Management Services, Inc. is now managing the property and significant capital and tenant improvements in order to re-position the building as the most attractive and best-located Class B office space in downtown Oakland.
