Bridgepoint at San Francisco (Landmark Shriner's Hospital)
In April 1998, Transamerica Senior Properties contracted with ECB to manage the development of a 120 unit assisted living facility on the site of the historic Shriners Hospital on 19th Avenue in San Francisco.
ECB managed a complex entitlement process and rehabilitation of the historic building, qualifying for the Historic Tax Credit, as well as construction of a new four-story addition on 20th Avenue to fit within the "view shadow" of the historic building and satisfy the local community.
ECB continued as development manager through the design and construction phases of the project. The new Bridgepoint at San Francisco opened for occupancy in November 2001.
