Melissa joined ECB in 2002. In addition to her duties as ECB office manager, Melissa is also a member of the property management team.

Melissa has 10 years of office managerial experience and wide ranging expertise in diverse industries, including residential building and remodeling, building maintenance supply, sporting goods distribution, computer education, and the legal field. Prior to joining ECB, Melissa managed a residential remodeling firm in Arizona and was involved in the startup, initial organization, and establishment of company policies and procedures. Under her management, the firm was honored with an ethics award from the Better Business Bureau of Arizona.

Melissa connects with the community through volunteerism, including serving as a big sister with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization and Child Haven, a non-profit crisis nursery care organization for which she became a licensed foster parent.

Melissa is a San Francisco native. She returned to the Bay Area after earning an Associate of Arts degree in Arizona in 2002, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an international honors society.
